Joy/Oy

There is always joy in oy
And oy in joy
The same time you mourn
A child is born
You are seriously hurt, oy
Fallen in dirt, oy
Yet you live, joy
Again to give, joy
During the oy you forget the good
Remember it in joy, as you should
There are tears for oy
There are tears for joy
Both joy and oy are part of life
Times — some good, some are strife
We don’t get to choose
Especially when you are Jews
Hopefully you’ve more joy than oy
But you learn more from the oy
Gratitude comes with the joy
Attitude may change the oy to joy
