Sing to the children when they’re young
Teach them poems and stories sung
It’s how the future will arise
Speaking of truth, not of lies

Music with words is a powerful teacher
Perhaps the most universal preacher
These lessons are easily swallowed
And become ways to be followed

Sing to the babies, children and us all
Let each one hear the clarion call
