Rehoboth Beach

Share our stories on social media:

I’m at the beach,
my favorite place to be.
It was in reach
at Rehoboth, you see.

The beach I love
with its sandy white floor.
Blue sky above.
I’m happy at the shore.

The foamy sea
licked each and every toe.
Calm as can be.
Nowhere else would I go.

Peaceful was I
Not a care in my mind.
I inhale a deep sigh:
I am feeling sublime.

Hubby and I
away a few days.
We both wonder why
I’m drawn to the waves.

A sun-filled sky
with clouds so few
gives me a high
like when we said, “I do.”

I look to the sea
and the sky so blue.
I’m glad it’s just we:
no others we knew.

The beach is my place —
I’m happy every time.
Just look at my face
I am feeling so fine!
