Pill Boxes
First it was one
And now it is three
Too many pill boxes
For you and for me
Pills in the morning
Pills at night
Pills for aches and pains
Something just ain’t right
Some pills are cheap
And some cost a lot
What good is insurance?
But that’s all we’ve got
Time marches on
And we’re getting older
Taking our daily meds
For aches in our shoulders
Plus knees, hips and feet
That are giving out too
Can’t we slow down time
And once again be twenty-two?
But this is our reality
We cannot avoid our fate
Better to enjoy good days
Before it’s too late!

I think you wrote about me, Eileen! Great poem.
Yeah, ain’t that the truth! Everyone in our age category can relate.
Sorry I missed this: Oh so true
