Oh, Spring Fever
In this unusually cold winter
I’m dreaming of a warm spring day
Hopefully, it isn’t very far away
Spring’s official month is March
It’s the “leaving lamb” we say
But sometimes we have to wait ’til May
As April is a fickle month
Especially with her showers
Though they’re needed for the flowers
The Virtue Patience is required
We can’t move it with a lever
But then it comes —oh, Spring Fever
Spring always seems the shortest season
We must enjoy it while we may
For scorching heat is on its way
