February
February, oh February
A month of doom and gloom
Certainly in my cold heart
For you there’s little room
Your skies are always steely gray
Grass so brown and trees so bare
Groundhog Phil emerges grumpy
About his shadow he doesn’t care
Twenty-eight days are long enough
To endure your dreariness
And hasten the countdown
To Spring’s more cheeriness
But as your days come to an end
And the Earth begins to awaken
I cannot wait to see you go
’Til next year, if I’m not mistaken

This is cute. What makes it funny is that the weather has been spring-like for over a week. Reading it, though, makes me wish we had a bit more winter. I fear our spring, and especially summer, are going to be brutal!
Oh I agree. Yes, winter is not sunny or fun.
