Nimble Fingers?

Share our stories on social media:

My fingers ain’t so nimble anymore
Nothing like those ancient days of yore

Playing favorite games such as jacks
A child’s ability that I now lack.

Pick-up sticks, a game I usually won
Which, of course, was always tons of fun

I used to enjoy knitting and crochet
Those hobbies now are a bygone day

Often I have trouble turning the pages
Is this what happens when one ages?

Now I’m lucky carrying just two things
One usually drops; bad words this brings

And my typing — it could not get worse
I’m beginning to think aging is a curse!
