From nowhere, isn’t it funny
Twice Trump’s been brought down by a bunny?
One is blue and one is Bad
This whole last week has been so rad

From all the troubles up in Minn.
And the big three-time Grammy win
Things are not going as T planned
Despite the way he does grandstand

Blue’s the color of Democrats
Red’s the color of Repub. “rats”
In this month we can’t even thaw
But oh my, what we heard and saw

Thanks to Judge Biery known as “Fred”
Law and civil rights aren’t dead
He did what courts should always do
The constitution must ring true

Hopefully, this past year’s been a blip
And maybe we can right our ship
People are screaming themselves hoarse
Telling us we must change the course

The “rats” must leave their sinking ship
Even if only a few will flip
Maybe the red can see the light
And come to blue to make things right

White’s the color of peace: a clean slate
It’s not too late to get things straight
Let us unite in jubilation
250 years of our Nation

P.S. If we don’t come together
One more shutdown we will weather
