Kaleidoscope

The leaves keep falling,
flittering to the ground
from the tall trees above,
now that autumn has arrived.

The vibrant, vivid colors of
red,
gold,
purple,
yellow,
crimson,
and orange
fill the soft warm air,
as they float slowly down,
creating a kaleidoscope
of bright and varied hues.

A carpet of colors dancing on earth’s brown floor.
