What was this plan to strike Iran?
Was there even a thought-out plan?
None of this do I understand.

Almost 12 countries – a Dirty Dozen
Sending girls, boys, wives and husbands
Lovers, sons, daughters – even grands.

Perhaps the regime should have been brought down.
But it’s not the choice of the White House clown.
That belongs in our Congress’s town.

Not a war? A rose by any other name?
Does he think World War III is just a game?
Like his other actions – the man’s insane!

Was there no thinking what this was all about?
How our U.S. citizens would get out?
We must protest, and also scream and shout.

We’re about to start day number seven
How many prayers must be sent to heaven?
Will it go beyond the “week of unleavened?”
